i don't believe that is happening via SP. Can you try uploading such an image in a post on this thread so we can see?

A couple differences, i couldn't upload straight into the text box (auto insert into post)  I had to upload then select from the previous files uploaded, but it looks like it worked...

Also, that was a screenshot, not sure if that has any different meta data than a picture in regards to the orientation?  I wasnt able to upload the picture i wanted to try since its over the 2mb limit.

That sounds very much to me like there may be a conflict with another plugin dealign with uploading. Do you have any such plugin active on the blog side of things - or for any purpose in fact?

Disabled and deleted all plugins except, SimplePress, Pirate Forms and Profile Builder...issue still occurring.

what browser on the galaxy?  and version?  possible its js support is limited...  any errors in the browser console?

Hey Papa,

So it's happening on iOS - Safari, and Firefox, iPhone and iPad and my Galaxy Tab 7 inch in Firefox.   That's all I have tested.  I really don't have the option to say to my users "you can only upload landscape pictures",  ya know?  Just surprising that you haven't seen this before?
