I've successfully made polls in the past, yet can't find the option anymore. After reading the codex, I'm getting stuck here:
"Once the plugin is installed and activated you must go to the Manage Groups and Forums page in the Forum administration section then edit and enable polls for each forum that are to have this feature."
When I go to Forums>Manage Groups and Forums and browse around the permissions, I'm not seeing anything about polls at all. Each user group who should have them has poll permissions, but I'm simply not seeing any poll options on the Manage Groups and Forums page. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

when you edit a forum on forum - forums - manage groups and forums, its in the third section, the extended forum options...
if you dont see it, check forum - plugins - plugins list and make sure you have polls installed and its active..

Finally see it! Thank you. For people who are having trouble finding that option:
Forum>Forums>Manage Groups and Forums>Edit Forum (of the forum in which you'd like to enable polls)>Extended forum options

And, I'm back. :/ I was able to create a poll, but instead of a poll, the following message appears:
A Simple Press Poll can only appear in a forum post
I've read through various threads regarding this issue, but am at a loss as to how to resolve it. I've played around with the settings that were mentioned in another thread, but nothing seems to help

so what theme is this? and link to your site?
trying turning off the display in loop options... its possible you an odd theme without a loop...

The site is WebcomicUnderdogs.com (linked to the poll post). I had loop options turned off initially, but was seeing what would happen if I turned them on. On or off, no dice. I'm using the default 1.2.7 theme.

Aha! I thought I had tried it off, but apparently I didn't. With api and loop off, the polls are now working. Thanks!
