I noticed this evening that I had downloaded the PM plugin but I had not activated it. I decided to try it out, as I think it is a nice addition to any forum. It appears that the PM system does not integrate with the buddypress PM's. In other words, my site seems to have two systems for sending pm's to other users. Future updates to the Private Message System plugin might benefit from adding the option to integrate the buddypress PM's with the simple press forum. In other words, use the Buddypress PM system and have the inbox icon link to the buddypress profile page (and also reflect when new PM's are received).

buddypress has a pm system? guess I didnt know that... makes sense it does... I dont about integrating though... the sp permission system really wont port over to bp very well, I dont think... but it can be considered in the future... and have made a note of it...
in the meantime, I would just change the inbox link on the forum to go over to the buddypress pm system inbox or whatever they have... you wont get a count, but a link would help... could also change the send pm links or just remove...
