You probably have a plugin in your WordPress thats causing the problem. Try disabling all plugins except Simple:Press see if that fixes the problem.

If it does, enable your plugins one at a time and test the forum to see which one is to blame

Sorry 0 are you saying your jQuery IS being loaded from Google? If that is the case then it is the first thing to correct...

Hi,

I am having a similar problem...the difference is that I start typing in the recipient field, only Admins appear in the list. No other members.

All plugins & themes are up to date. SP version is current. I'm not getting any errors in the JS console.

Any thoughts?

Well no - not really. This is not the same thing at all.Clearly for you there is no script error so it works. Have you turned on the permission to allow your users to make use of Private Messaging?

This is still almost certainly being caused by something else. Did you read the jquery conflict page linked on the last page? Also what was the problem relating to Google?

This could also be caused by your WordPress theme. You need to cover absolutely everything until you figure out what the problem is. Try setting a default WP theme, make sure all WP plugins are disabled, and if you still get the error running nothing but a default WP theme and SP, please post a link to your forum.

That never even crossed my mind...but you were correct. Not sure how that happened. Nonetheless, thank you for your help.
