I understand what you are saying... When you share any link (this is not simple press specific), facebook tries to find an image in the url page... it may pick whatever it wants...
That is why I recommended getting a plugin that adds in the open graph stuff... that is how you can tell facebook about images... most let you specify a default image in case it cannot find one on the page to use...
most of you seo plugins (all in one seo, wordpress seo, etc) do this for you... jetpack will also set up the OG tags for you...

Thanks but i'm really getting irate lol trying to get simple forum running user friendly.
I just had a friend try to post it asked him to drag a picture into a circle then do a math problem then, what he wrote still hasn't posted.
