This has happened a couple of times now where a forum moderator changes the topic status to “answered” or “closed” and then a forum subscriber comes back with a response and the topic status doesn’t update to “new”, which is the only topic status available to subscribers–i.e., the topic status stays at whatever status the moderator put it at instead of changing to “new”.

This only happens every once in a while, but it’s bad because our moderators won’t see that the subscriber came back with a new response. Has anyone else reported this problem? Anything we can try to resolve it?

We are using v 3.3.1 of the Topic Status plugin, v 6.8.10 of Simple:Press, and we’re at version 6.2 of WordPress. Thanks.
