Why the user can't see file attachment

Hi, 

i already installed file uploader plugin, and tried to upload some file in my topic.

first i was logging in as an admin. i uploaded a file . I as an admin could see the attachment. But the users couldn’t

second, i was logging in as a user. I uploaded a file but i couldn’t see my attachment after i submited the topic.

so, why the user can’t see the file attachment?

do users have permission to view images, media or files???  they need permission to view them…

I am just working with File Uploader too. Mr Papa, do you mean we need to enable this permission for the user within SP forum settings?

Correct. Generally speaking plugins are supplied with permissions turned off to ensure that users which should not be able to use them can not do so.

Check which permission sets you are using for your forums and then go to the permissions management admin section and edit the sets you need to allow the right users to upload (and maybe download file attachments if needed) – and then turn on the required actions.

For added convenience – there is a button on the permission admin page listing (permission usage) that shows which forums and user groups are set to use each set.
