Yes I searched all the theme files for responsive-container and it only occurs in themefit-hybrid/js/themefit.init.jQuery.js lines 16-18; it is only called for pages on iphones and ipads.

The class responsive-container is in the CSS but the class is only called on pages for iphones and ipads.  It gives different CSS for different screen types.

Sorry if I'm not being clear.  The style.css holds all the styles but they only effect things if they are called out in the HTML pages.  So if there is no id="responsive-container" or class="responsive-container" somewhere in the HTML of the web page we are looking at, the class is not being applied anywhere in it.  All classes in the style.css are not applied to all pages automatically, styles have to be explicitly called out in the HTML to effect it.  To see which styles are effecting a page one can view source in the browser while on that page, then search the source to see which styles are being applied on that page.  I hope that makes sense.

OKAY i am officially eating my hat now.  I commented out the responsive-container styles in the css and viola, the embedded videos on http://markwaid.com/mwforum/fo.....is-a-test/ are all working.  Sorry for all my ignorant spewing!!  I dunno how the style applies when it's not in the view source but it WORKS, thanks so much for solving my problem.  *chomps on hat*

Thank you, I will turn them on one by one.  Thanks for spending two days holding my hand over this, and helping me wade through the morass of plugins and my own confusion.  I really appreciate it!
