Thanks. The last thing I did was activate the Jetpack plugin. That's what messed up the forum. It's deactivated now.

Oh dear... I should have thought of that... JetPack is causing all kinds of bad things for many plugins.
And now your page looks good.

Do you by any chance know which component of Jetpack you had active?

From memory only the "Sharing" component. Is that what you mean?

yes it was. I don't believe that is the part of Jetpack that causes this though. Jetpack forces some components to be active even when you don't realise it without offering an obvious and intuitive way to deactivate them. It really is a quite insidious plugin and the fact that it comes from the Automattic stable just makes it worse.
