Support Forum
Oh great found a load of bugs, firstly Darnoc Walraf who is my regular member test alter ego cannot post new topics, they are rejected with the message 'You are not allowed put links in post content'. I wasn't aware that the single word 'test' was a link. I'll post that one elsewhere.
But best of all look at what happens in IE8, it is totally screwed. I did an svn up to 6829 this morning in the UK and used default with berries and creme in case it was my theme and overlay that was causing problems. I suspect that it might me my wasteland theme again because it has some stuff labelled IE hacks in the style sheet. In saying that the main site with V4.4.5 works with the same WP Theme and WP version just fine.
I believe that IE8 should be banned, there's nothing like this on Firefox, Chrome or Safari on a variety of platforms.
Forum view looks like this:
Text gets progressively smaller as you go down the screen.
The editor is even funnier.
guess this weekend I will have dust off the outdated IE 8 and see if it happens for me...
you do no IE 10 is nearing? Love the fact that WP is dropping IE 7 support in wp 3.3... IE 9 is the first version that approaches following standards... the preview releases I have seen of IE 10 look even better...

on the list for this weekend... I have run through the forum MANY times with IE 9 and no such behaviour... but like I say will dust off the old IE 8 for quick run through... I just dont get why folks wont keep their browsers up to date...

Fair point at work we have IE7 and it's screwed on that as well [Image Can Not Be Found], they have some legacy engineering stuff and so we have to use it for certain things.
I use Firefox and keep that up to date, but Steve, the old codgers that use my main site have only just got their heads around the concept of electricity!
You need to fix this but I would like to know if anyone else sees this problem sooner rather than later.
