not sure what else to suggest at this point... perhaps, you could private message yellowswordfish and myself a temp wp admin account with sp admin caps (forum - admins - manage admins) so we can take a closer look at whats going on... if that works, please be sure to include a link and reference to this topic in the pm...

well, we may have the root of our problem here... so, you are using the feature content gallery plugin?  that plugin is known to conflict very badly with WordPress.  It uses the mootools js library and WordPress uses the jQuery js library.  those two libraries share a common namespace so conflicts are very common.

Now, the conflicts wont be absolute - depends on what is going on... but lots of support topics over at WP about that plugin...

search our forums here for several workarounds or other plugins that do the same thing...  easiest thing to do is not load the FCG js (hell, its not used anyways!!!!) on the forum page...

I apologize,

I should not have send these error messages .

We checked featured gallery at the beginning of this thread and I deactivated it and the problems were still there.

I think it is ruled out, as it is currently deactivated and uninstalled and the problem is still there .

Since it says error and javascrip (on the forum post page )

I am now wondering if google ads have anything to do wiith it .

the  message in firefox (tools>error)  has 7 of these messages :

Security Error: Content at http://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/ may not load data from www.****.ca/forum/.

Sorry for the confusion

not sure what what that error is saying... BUT MANY folks run google ads in their forums, so its not a general  problem but I guess could be related to a plugin or other method you are using...

Think the next step would be as discussed in post #21...

empty page???  so you are in the wp admin...  you click on the forum admin nav menu - the admins panel and then the manage admins subpanel...  and you get a blank page?

Hello ,

I went to wp dashboard >forum>admins>manage admins > then click on it and

nothing opens up on the right side .

I still have the spf administration bar  on the left ,but the other part is blank ,.

The other admin options do work .

When I click f.e. forum>admins>your admin options  or

                         forum> admins>global admin  options

the blue frame will open to the right with functions to change .fe

I can see

Your Admin/Moderator Options

- disply admin bar                            ….etc..etc.

What  should I do now ?

How can I give you permissions ?

Thank you .

at this point, it seems you have some serious issues with your install (as you already know)... I am guessing that some other plugin is greatly conflicting with sp...  please try disabling all your other plugins and seeing if the admin stuff works...

Hello,

I have disabled all plugins except the forum and just tried

the forums>admins>manage admins  again

Sorry, there is still a blank  on the right .

I also put all my post yesterday to draft, thinking maybe a script within a post might cause a problem ( I only have some ads there like google, amazon etc.)

But that did not make a difference either .

Maybe it is the installation.

By the way , I cannot log in using Firefox at all. I can only log in to Forum

using I.E.

I would  not mind to pay a reasonable price to get this fixed and properly installed.

I had way too many coffees already and I am out of clues .[Image Can Not Be Found]

Thanks so much.
