Translating advice

Hi, I’m trying to finish off translating the reboot theme v1.

I’m logged in and have been adding translations.

Are they kept in a queue before moving to status waiting, I go back in and they all show as untranslated again (although I get the saved green pop up each time).

Will I need to start from scratch again for v2 that now on our localisation website?

Also is there a way to export the entire list as a .po file. I’ve tried export > only matching the filter with all selected at the top

Thanks

Hi:

There shouldn’t be.  I imported all the strings from V1 into the Reboot V2 project for you so all you need to do is add in your translations.  Once you do that we’ll be able to approve them and you can export the PO file.

Thanks.

I also just made you a validator for the Reboot V2 French so you actually should be able to translate and go. But if for some reason that doesn’t’ work just let me know when you’re finished and I’ll approve the translations.

Thanks.

I’m trying to finish off the translation for v1 rather than start from scratch.

That’s why I was wondering if you can transfer the translations from 1 to 2.

But I still cannot seem to save my work, must be doing something wrong but cannot work out what.

Here’s a video to show you what I’m doing:

Hi – thanks for the video.

When you log in to version 1, can you click the “waiting” link at the top to see if the work you’ve done shows up?

Actually, I think I have resolved the issue you were seeing.  I think.

Can you take a look at the Reboot V2 French project?  You should see all translated terms there approved.  There were some pending translations from other users so I approved those as well.

Thanks.

Ok, all working now. We finished off the translation and have it up on our site. We’re still double checking some of the translations already done, and will update on your localisation site if necessary.
