I know the theme I was using was interfering with simple press and switched to a different theme that works well, looking through some posts, for example xdaves

it seems others are running into the same issue, I was wondering if there was a list of themes that either the developers or the members know for a fact doesn't conflict with simple press with jquery issues and such.
It might be a good reference to have for people that have theme compatability issues

It would actually be much, much, much, much, much (is that enough 
) easier to do the opposite... the number of themes that we have run across that do have conflicts is quite small compared to the number that do not... basically, if a theme follows the wp api and standards, it will work...
that said, off hand I do not have such a list - perhaps Andy does... typically, you can search the forum here for a theme name and see if any reports... I know, not as helpful...
