Hopefully someone may read this and offer some useful advice but speaking personally the only membership plugin I have any experience of is WishList which is probably not going to offer you what you are after.
It might end up that you have to install them one at a time and try them out! As you say - there are quite a number of them! Sorry I can't recommend anything.

Thanks Andy. I had PMed you long time back and you had told me to refer to Mr Papa as she's the guru in this part. Let me bug him a bit. Don't know why he has started a new topic related to this thread though :-D
