Howdy,
Does anyone have recommendations for online or video tutorials, that we can use for our forum members? It seems some folks aren’t familiar with the forum format and struggle a bit to use all the forum’s features. I don’t want to reinvent the wheel.

I’ve never looked, and just having a quick browse mostly all I can find is installation and setup tutorials.. I’m not sure there are any on using the forum from a members perspective unless anyone else knows of any?

I just looked at the 2 manuals – nice but very basic. It looks like he has not updated his forum software and it’s just displaying DB error messages. The manual links are still up.
Mike, There is nothing like custom for your site – we all use different combinations of SP features and setup – there are several free or almost free apps for recording screen captures and putting a little audio over top of them – my advice is to do short 30 – 45 second ones that cover the basics of using your forum. You can post them on youtube for free. If you don’t like the idea of video – try screenshot captor – it’s a free screen shot app that make it easy to add text, arrows and highlights to screen shots for putting together tutorials.

Not yet. I am committed to developing a tutorial at some point but I am up to my waist in allegators and out of shotgun shell. I’ll post it here when I finish it. ~mike c
