That sucks! ... but other than that my experience with WPE is quite good.
By the way:
Do you have a recommendation for a better WP managed hosting and great 24/7 support?

We have been happily using a VPS at the same company for so long now I am truly out of touch. But @mr-papa might have some ideas.
On the whole I do hear good reviews of WPE but I also know that it comes up every now and then here often over some so-called 'security' add-on that the user didn't know was being used!

we struggled for many years finding a good host... have been quite happy for last 3 or 4 with hivelocity... though they do not have anything specific to WP that I know of...
