At rev 6797 and I have entries in the admin list that should not be there, those with loaded avatars or gravitars display correctly, those without only have names, there are no default forum icons.

This is the same for both the default theme and the iForum theme.

yeah, we have not done anything to change the grouping...  open ticket but no easy way to fix it...

check the html and see if there is an avatar there but the image file is invalid... yours may be pointing to wrong location...

conrad have you looked at the other topic for the admin entries?  can you verify memberships like Lee did?

Conrad…

I know I seem like I'm beating a dead horse, but mysterious things really haunt me. Could you put me out of my misery and check your database for me? I can't shake the feeling you are dealing with multiple issues in this thread. You keep mentioning users (and I see them in your screenshot) that do not belong in admin. Could you check table wp_sfmemberships then click the user_id link (in phpmyadmin) to sort by user id. Then check the id's of the misplaced users to see if they belong to usergroup_id 0? If they don't…  I'll be at rest and let this go forever 🙂

Thanks!

PS Please forgive me Steve and Andy [Image Can Not Be Found]

Edit: Mr. Papa snuck that in while I was posting. Thanks Mr. Papa!

Yes very good that Lee and a really good idea, but take a look at the 3 images. Images 1 & 2 show that the database has very little resemblance to what is displayed. Also there are no default icons for those without avatars.

When I log as someone else (image 3), who is not an admin, I get the correct names in the lists but no icons for those without avatars I get a broken link. This is using Chrome.

However just to be sure I logged in as Mr Papa who is admin and I get the same display as Image 2. So guys as we say in  Yorkshire (opposite end of the country to Andy) 'summats up!'

I wasn't crazy!!!  Whoo Hoo!

Although the "How" part will drive me there. LOL

Edit: I forgot to add that I also ONLY saw the problem while logged in as Admin. But if logged in as a Member or a Mod, everything looked perfect as far as I could tell.

Apart from the fact that there are no icons for those without avatars?

I've never seen the "broken image" things as you show in image three. No matter who I've been logged in as. And not even before I "resolved" the Admin grouping problem.  BUT... I must remind you that I've never really used the member lists before. I only enabled when you first reported this. So I am unfamiliar with what it should look like. And likely have options in the backend to mess with to enable icons? I can't check at the moment as dinner is on the grill.

Picture number two of yours with text only and a Avatar if the user has it, is what I see now.

what I want to know is in the html is there an image tag for the avatar... if its broke or incorrect, you wont see unless you inspect the html itself...  at least in FF... IE will show a a red box for bad images...

just committed a fix for the usergroup grouping...  for those invalid memberships, ie usergroup id null or 0, they will be grouped at the end and listed in unknown membership...  kind of an indication that you could go clean it up...

have opened up a ticket to figure out how they might be getting the usergroup id of 0...  I have some in my db now too... it came from live site here couple days ago and no usergroup id 0 there, so must be something in 5.0 (though could jsut be all the testing and stuff we are doing)... will try to track it down..
