Is it ? Oh good. I'm not sure that I ever use list view then. You'd better give me a pointer to the definitive guide on views.

  • Group view when you look at what is essentially the front page, it shows groups and the forums in those groups.
  • Forum view when you look at a specific forum and see a list of topics for that forum
  • Topic view where you see the posts for that topic
  • List view - obviously I have no idea [Image Can Not Be Found]

Right on all of the above. I think we have covered list view earlier in this thread. So - common places where it is used - The New Post List that was appended to the Group View that you removed from your own template; All New Post List popups - like the one to the right of the breadcrumbs; Search results...

Anywhere a simple list of topics is required.
