Yup, I updated wordpress first.

I did clear my cache but to be 100% sure i deactivated ALL plugins except SP again and cleared all my cache & cookies again and still doesn’t work.

Any chance you could sign me up so that I can take a look at, say, a new topic page?

I had this problem also after updating to WP 3.9. It disappeared after I updated SP from 5.4.1 to 5.4.2 and updated the the plugins accordingly.

I have the same problem. I cannot Add topic nor add reply after updating to 3.9 yesterday. Any solutions? All plugins are fully updated.

LeoS: Thanks for the confirmation. I believe it is fine for the vast majority.

For anyone else then please:

• Do make sure you have updated ALL SP plugins AFTER WP3.9 and SP5.4.2 are updated.
• Do make sure to clear your browser cache afterwards as a lot of scripts have been changed.
• If you are using our ‘Mentions’ plugin – deactivate it and try the editor again.

if after these steps it still does not function then come on back and report it here. But it might be that the only way to diagnose this will be to haver site access…

I disabled the MCE Editor plugin and am now able to add topics & replies. I am also running Wishlist member but do not have any WL plugins enabled.

Same here. After updating WP to the latest version no one could post.  I then updated SP and the problem remains.

Disabled Editor TinyMCE Rich Text version 3.0.0 and it all works.

Also, I am not running wishlist member, whatever that is.

OK – if the items at post #20 are all good but still no luck AND you are not using the WishList tags plugin then I really will probably need to have access to the sites so I can see what is happening and interrogate the scripts. This is a new version of TinyMCE that has been used in WordPress 3.9 and there is always the possibility that another plugin you are using has not been updated to suit. Just one possibility. If I can have accerss to sites then…

Same issue, I do use wishlist, do not use wishlist tags plugin. Ran into the issue after updating WP and SP

I also have problems here with TinyMCE post editor since I updated to WP 3.9.
Running SP 5.4.2, WP 3.9, Mentions plugin is installed but not enabled, all SP plugins are up to date.

I had some other issues with the Visual Editor in WordPress, those were related to qTranslate plug, but I managed to find an update that fixed it.

Still no joy with the “Editor TinyMCE Rich Text”, but other Editors SP plugins work fine and let the users post.

Let me know if I can help finding the issue.
